No Weapon Formed Will Prosper
When you take a stand for God, the enemy will come at you with everything he has because you are a threat to his kingdom. But you are connected to God’s plan, so be encouraged because the weapon may be formed against you, but it will not prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
GOD IS IN CONTROL
In Esther 5, the king’s most powerful and wicked official, Haman, was so angry that Mordecai, a righteous man and a Jew who worked at the palace gate, refused to bow to him that he decided to hang Mordecai and eventually destroy all the Jews in the entire empire. But God stepped in and interrupted Haman’s plan.
Haman was on his way to the king’s palace to ask for Mordecai’s life. But “on that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king” (Esther 6:1 KJV).
The Bible says, “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will” (Proverbs 21:1). Not only did God take away the king’s sleep, he also guided the king’s attendant to read about the time Mordecai saved his life. Two of the king’s eunuchs were plotting to take the king’s life, and Mordecai informed his niece, the queen, who informed the king.
GOD WILL REWARD YOUR GOOD DEEDS
The king never thanked Mordecai and eventually forgot about him. Sometimes God will cause certain people to forget about the kindness you showed them, so he can remind them of your good deeds at the right time and right moment – right when you need it most.
Pharaoh’s butler had forgotten about Joseph, but when Pharaoh had a disturbing dream that no one could interpret, the butler remembered Joseph and told Pharoah about him. Pharaoh called for Joseph at once, and when he interpreted his dream, Pharaoh made him prime minister over the land of Egypt.
GOD IS AHEAD OF YOUR ENEMY
So, as the king’s attendant read the Chronicles, the king realized he had done nothing to reward Mordecai for saving his life. And right as he was wondering how to show honor to Mordecai, there was a knock at the door. Guess who it was? Haman had just entered the court. God is always a million steps ahead of the enemy. Nothing takes God by surprise.
When Haman came in, the king didn’t even give Haman a chance to talk. “And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour?” (Esther 6:6). Haman was so prideful, he thought, “To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?” (Esther 6:6).
THE TABLES ARE TURNING IN YOUR FAVOR
Dress the man in the king’s robe, Haman suggested. Parade him through the town on the king’s horse, shouting, “This is what the king does for someone he wishes to honor.” “Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken” (Esther 6:10).
The devil always overplays his hand and ends up putting his foot in his mouth. He cannot prevail against you because God is on your side. God is fighting for you, and he is making all things work together for your good (Romans 8:28). He will use your enemies' plans as stepping stones to your promotion. You are coming out of this fight more than a conqueror. No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
GOD'S PLAN IS ALWAYS BEST
There’s much activity going on at our ministry headquarters these days as we prepare for the launch of Miracle Healing Center in just two short months! This is a dream fulfilled for us. When God gave us the vision more than ten years ago to launch a church in the DFW area, there was every reason to question, “How can it be, Lord? There are so many wonderful, Spirit-filled churches here!” But God’s plan is always best. There are people who will experience God in ways we could never imagine at Miracle Healing Center – ways in which, for whatever reason, they would not have experienced elsewhere. We know the vision God has, to use this church to reach tens of thousands of people, but if it only made a radical difference in the life of one, it would be worth it.
Please keep partnering with us to promote the church launch service to our neighbors in
McKinney, Texas. We’re using social media to the max, connecting with people where they spend most of their times: on their phones, tablets and laptops. Whatever you sow, it will be used to bring glory and honor to God as HIS great plan is carried out in McKinney.
