Faith for Your Miracle

Are you doing everything you can and still not getting results? Of course, there is a time for everything, but sometimes, we need to spend more time meditating on the Word of God to receive answers to our situations. The Bible is full of amazing testimonies that were not just recorded to encourage us. They were written to stir our faith to get the same results.
One of my favorite faith-inspiring testimonies in the Bible is the story of the woman with the issue of blood. She dealt with this problem for twelve long years. “And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse” (Mark 5:25 KJV).

This woman’s situation looked hopeless. Her health was failing, and it seemed she would never get better. In fact, she grew worse. But there are certain things this woman did that we can apply to our lives to activate our faith for miracles to happen.
First, let’s examine this woman’s response to her situation. The Bible says she spent all she had on doctors and treatments but continually grew worse. This woman’s sickness was not just affecting her overall health but her finances and every area of her life.

Many of you are dealing with a problem, and it is impacting your spiritual life, marriage, relationship with your kids, health, or finances. And this is one of the reasons the theme for our upcoming Miracle Breakthrough Service is breakthrough in every area of your life. Whatever you are believing God to do for you, we want to join our faith with you and watch God do the impossible in every area of your life.
So, this woman’s entire well-being was affected by her sickness, but she refused to accept her situation as it was. She was willing to do whatever it took to get healed. One of the worst things you can do is settle for less than God’s intended way of life for you. If God made you a promise, then go after it with everything inside you until his word manifests in your life.

The Bible says, “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment” (verse 27). Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). I love the Living Bible translation of verse 27, which reads, “She had heard all about the wonderful miracles Jesus did, and that is why she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his clothes.”

This woman heard others testify about the miracles they received in Jesus’s meetings, and those reports stirred her faith. Never underestimate the power of your testimony. If God has healed you, do not keep quiet about it. Someone else’s miracle could depend on your decision to tell others about the good things the Lord has done for you.

A lady named June was healed in one of our services from an enlarged heart and a whole in her heart. We shared June’s testimony, and her testimony encouraged a lady named Kenya who had an enlarged heart for eight years. Kenya faithfully attended every LIVE broadcast, claiming her healing. And when she went back to her cardiologist, he examined her echocardiogram and said her heart was now normal in size. Praise God!

So, the woman with the issue of blood heard of the miracles of Jesus, and she acted on her faith. Faith without works is dead. This woman decided she would not just sit in her house, hoping Jesus would come her way. She was determined to get to Jesus. In her time, it was not legal for her to be out among others because she was considered unclean because of her condition, but she took a calculated risk and stepped out of her comfort zone.

She got into an atmosphere where people were hungry for Jesus. There is something about people of like precious faith coming together. A special anointing for miracles is released. You have others joining their faith with you for your miracle, believing God to do the impossible. The Bible says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

Of course, you can pray alone, and God can answer your prayer. But some of you need help. Some of you are surrounded by negativity and doubt, and you need to get out of that atmosphere and come into an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is moving. Many of the miracles that took place in Jesus’s ministry happened among the multitudes in an atmosphere of corporate faith.

And she reached out in faith to Jesus and grabbed the hem of his garment. “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague” (verse 29). God honored her faith. “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?” (verse 30).

The disciples were confused. There was a large crowd gathered about Jesus. “Look at all these people pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” But there was something different about the touch Jesus felt. This was a touch of faith, and healing power flowed from him. Trembling with excitement, the woman “came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth” (verse 33). Thank God this woman shared her testimony.

I preached this message in Mala, India, and a young woman was there who had an issue of blood for five years. She went to several doctors, and they couldn’t help her. But during that meeting, the Holy Spirit told me, “There is a woman here who has been bleeding. Tell that woman I’m going to heal her right now.” I obeyed, and the power of God came upon that woman, and she was completely healed. She returned the next day and testified, saying she had no more issues.

So, Jesus turned to the woman with the issue of blood and told her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague” (verse 34). Wow. This woman acted on her faith, and she got the result she was hoping for. She got a miracle, and her life was completely turned around for the better.
