A Window of Opportunity

When God opens a window, there is often an expiration time on how long it will remain open, so do not tarry to seize the opportunity to jump through it. If God made a promise to you, start taking steps to prepare yourself to receive it. Then, when the time comes for God to fulfill His word, you will not be running around wasting precious time. Be ready.

You may feel foolish, but you will be glad when your breakthrough comes. Noah felt foolish building the ark, but when the flood came, he and his family were ready. When the elevator doors open, we move quickly because the doors will close if we take too long to get inside.
Are you believing God for a better house? Start packing. Are you praying for a baby? Get the nursery ready. Do you need a financial breakthrough? Begin investing in ideas. Start taking steps of faith. God will reward your confidence in Him.

In Joshua 2, the children of Israel were ready to possess the promised land and Joshua sent two men to spy out the land of Jericho. God told them He would give them every place they set their foot, so they started putting action to their faith.

The men spied out the land, and they stayed at the house of a harlot named Rahab. God will use the people you least expect to help you get your breakthrough. Rahab was not an ordinary woman. She had put her faith in the God of Israel, and one day, she would give birth to Boaz who was the grandfather of Jesse, the father of David, from whose lineage the Messiah would descend.

God is about to connect you with some people who may not have been raised in church. They may not look like church folk or talk like them, but they are connected to God’s plan. Their faith in God is strong, and God will use the foolishness of this world to confound the wise, so our trust can be in him alone (1 Corinthians 1:27).

When the king of Jericho heard about the spies, he ordered Rahab to bring the men out. “The men were here, but I did not know where they were from,” Rahab replied. “They left right before the gates closed. If you hurry, you should be able to catch them.”

“But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof” (Joshua 2:6). After the king’s men left, Rahab went up to the roof to speak with the spies.

“And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you” (Joshua 2:9). Rahab told the men how they heard of all the mighty miracles God had performed on their behalf.

“And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath” (Joshua 2:11).

The land is yours! God has gone before you and prepared the way. Are you ready? Are you taking practical steps toward your destiny? There is a time to fast and pray, but there is also a time to act. Faith without works is dead (James 2:26).

The men promised Rahab that when they conquered the city, they would spare her and her family. “Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall” (Joshua 2:15). And she tied the scarlet cord in the window, so they could recognize her house and save it. That scarlet thread represents the blood of Jesus.

The window is open, a window of salvation and deliverance! Bust the move. This opportunity will not last forever. Get ready. God is about to fulfill His promise to you.

God has blessed us with a unique opportunity. As you know, our goal has been to launch Miracle Healing Center in the McKinney, Texas, area for some time now. Recently, we were offered space at a middle school in McKinney, TX, to use as the site of our church. We are thrilled! The school has a beautiful auditorium, and we are excited to witness God moving in it!

Our first service will take place in May, 2023. If you are in driving distance of McKinney, we want to personally invite you to join us for our launch service. If you are farther away, you’ll have the ability to tune in to our livestream feed on YouTube and Facebook. Don’t miss it! It is going to be a powerful time of dedication and welcoming of the Holy Spirit into our presence as a new body of believers.

Will you consider sowing a seed to help us establish Miracle Healing Center? The ground is fertile. All it needs is seed. Your seed will go to helping us cover promotion of our church to the McKinney community, the expenses of the facility, and the many other incidental needs a church plant has while getting established. You can make a donation of any amount – it all counts! But if you are looking for direction, a seed of $75 from each of our ministry friends and partners would free us up to do all we need to do here. Click the link below to give:
God bless,
Pastors Sean and Aimee Pinder
