Take the Limits Off God
Sometimes we experience heartache and disappointment for such a long time that it almost becomes normal, a way of life to us. But I believe the Holy Spirit put a word on my heart for you to take the limits off God. No matter what you are going through, God is able to change your situation.
He can turn that trial into triumph. He can turn you from being the victim into the victor. With God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Someone needs to hear that again. Nothing is impossible with God. No mountain you are facing, no trial you are going through, no pain you have been carrying – nothing is too hard for God. He is bigger than every giant, every Jericho wall, every Red Sea you face. He will come through for you and give you double for your trouble.
DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE
In Psalm 90, the psalmist prayed, “Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good” (Psalm 90:15, NLT). In other words, “God, make it up to us for all the trouble we had to go through.”
God said in Isaiah 60, “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours” (Isaiah 61:7). That is what He did for Job. The Bible says He turned the captivity of Job and gave him twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10).
He did the same for Joseph. In one day, God brought Joseph out of prison and made him the prime minister of Egypt. And Joseph was able to say, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction” (Genesis 41:52). In the same place where I went through the fire, where I was tested, where I was falsely accused and thrown into prison, God brought me out and blessed me to the point that he made me forget all my troubles (Genesis 41:51).
Don’t limit God. He is about to give you a ridiculous breakthrough, a miracle that doesn’t make sense. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). He can bring you out in twenty-four hours, so put your faith out there.
POSITION YOURSELF FOR A MIRACLE
Expect to receive your miracle. Stop saying it’s never going to happen and get into the realm of faith. Jesus said, “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it” (Matthew 21:22). What do you want God to do for you? Position yourself to receive that blessing. Start declaring the Word of God over your situation in faith.
Jesus said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20, KJV).
Nothing is too hard for the Lord. Believe God again. Put your trust in Him again. Stand on the Word again. Pray in faith again. Expect to receive your miracle. Position yourself to receive that miracle, and know that God will answer your prayer. Take the limits off God.
WE HAVE POSITIONED OURSELVES
God has put a great call upon our lives to minister the gospel in power and in truth. This calling is bigger than Pastor Aimee and me. It’s a calling only God can fulfill – and He will fulfill it because we have put our trust in Him!
We are looking forward to our upcoming crusade in Pakistan. God has mighty things in store for the people we will meet there, and we are humbled that He has chosen us to carry His glory to the nations. I want you to know that God is using you to facilitate His mission. Your every gift, every prayer, every seed sown is being used by God to perform His will in all the earth.
You too have a calling, so I want you to get this: God always fully funds His mission. Just as He is using friends and partners of this ministry like you to accomplish His will through us, He will move upon others to become your friends and partners to help you do all He’s called you to do. Receive with gladness the Lord’s funding! It’s not for you; it’s for a MUCH greater good, and God will use it to make an eternal difference for His glory and honor. Praise the Lord for supplying what you have need of! We’re praising along with you!
