A Divine Appointment

What a powerful time we had at our Homecoming Sunday celebration at Miracle Healing Center! Our hearts are still overflowing with gratitude for all that God did during this time of worship and fellowship. To see so many of our church family from around the country come together under one roof - from New York to Louisiana, from California to South Carolina – was truly special, nothing short of a divine appointment. When God’s people come together in faith, heaven takes notice!
The presence of the Holy Spirit saturated the atmosphere. So many were refreshed and encouraged. Some were slain under the power. Breakthroughs were released. Chains were broken. One of our beloved partners from Missouri, who hadn’t walked well in over a year due to a stroke, was able to lift his legs higher. We are praising God for the beginning of a miracle.
Two Are Better Than One
Saints, that is the power of agreement. When we come together in faith, something supernatural takes place, a special anointing is released that neither of us can tap into on our own. The Bible says not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). Why? God never intended for us to walk this Christian journey alone. We need each other. Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20 NKJV).
There is power in agreement. “Two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Remember the four men who broke open the roof to lower their paralyzed friend in the presence of Jesus? When they couldn’t find a way to get to Jesus, they made a way. You need people in your life like that – people who will carry you when you can’t carry yourself.
Agreement in Action
When Herod arrested the Apostle Peter, intending to kill him like he killed the Apostle James, the church prayed earnestly for him. Peter was bound by chains, guarded by sixteen soldiers. His situation looked hopeless. But the church didn’t give up.
They came into agreement, and God released an angel in answer to their prayers. Peter’s chains fell off, and his prison door flew open. The church was so focused on praying that when Peter knocked on Mary's door, they couldn't believe he was actually standing there! Sometimes, God answers our prayers so dramatically that it takes us by surprise.
There is exponential power in agreement. The Bible says that one of you can chase a thousand, and two of you can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). There are so many examples in the Bible of the power of agreement. When Peter and John came into agreement at the Temple gate and prayed for a man who was crippled his entire life, a miracle happened. The man wasn’t even expecting a miracle.
“Silver and gold have I none,” Peter said, “but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6 KJV). Peter took the man by the right hand, and the Bible says, “Immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength” (Acts 3:7). And the man stood up and began walking and leaping and praising God. A large crowd soon gathered around the man, wondering how he was healed, and Peter preached the Gospel to them. That day, the men alone who became believers were 5,000. That is the power of agreement.
What happened when Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns of praise together in the Philippian jail? God got to tapping his feet, and at midnight, an earthquake happened, and not only did Paul and Silas' chains fall off, but the chains of every single prisoner in that prison broke. And all their prison doors flew open. That is the power of agreement. That is the power of corporate prayer and praise.
Positioning Yourself for a Miracle
What impossible situation are you facing today? What chains need to be broken in your life, your family, or your ministry? I want to encourage you – don't face it alone! There is power when God's people come together in agreement.
Remember what happened on the day of Pentecost when the believers were gathered together in one accord in one place? There was a sound as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the place where they were staying. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4).
Unity matters in the kingdom of heaven. Being at the right place at the right time matters. Do you know you can strategically position yourself for a miracle? Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone, like the woman with the issue of blood. When she heard about Jesus, she pushed her way through the crowd. She could have been stoned because she was considered unclean, but she was desperate for a miracle. And when she grabbed the hem of Jesus’ garment, she was completely healed.
Sometimes, we need to get out of our atmosphere and into an atmosphere of faith. Naaman, the leper, left his home in Syria to visit the prophet Elisha in Israel. God rewarded his faith, and he was healed, and his skin became as the skin of a baby.
That's exactly what happened on Homecoming Sunday! So many of you made the trip from all over the country to be with us here in McKinney, Texas. We know it wasn't easy - taking time off work, booking flights, finding hotels - but you did it anyway because you felt God calling you to be there. And let me tell you, He showed up in a mighty way! The breakthroughs that took place? That wasn't coincidence. That was God honoring your obedience and your willingness to step out in faith.
Pastor Aimee and I were so excited to meet so many of you face to face. We love you from the bottom of our hearts. All of your prayers and support make it possible to do what we do, and the harvest of salvations and miracles and lives touched through this ministry belongs to all of us. We're already talking about Homecoming 2026.
We're also thrilled to announce that we'll be having an International Healing Service at Grace Point Media Studio in Dallas, Texas with Pastor Kim Norris. God has put this on our hearts, and we can already sense the anticipation building! We'll let you know the moment registration opens - you won't want to miss what God has in store!
