Your Faith Has God's Attention

As we prepare for our Homecoming Sunday celebration, I feel the Holy Spirit stirring inside me! Can you feel the anticipation in the atmosphere? God is about to do something miraculous in McKinney, Texas! This Homecoming Sunday isn't just another church service - it's a divine appointment with destiny where God will meet you at your point of need. Being at the right place at the right time matters.
Blessed Are the Hungry
The Bible says in Mark 2 that Jesus entered Capernaum, and instantly the news spread like wildfire! The house was so packed with hungry people that no one could even get through the door! These people understood something powerful - wherever Jesus is, the anointing is present! Wherever Jesus is, miracles happen! Wherever Jesus is, chains are broken, and yokes are destroyed! When Jesus is in the house, everything changes!
These weren't religious people looking for a dry sermon. No! These were desperate people, hungry for a touch from heaven! And when Jesus preached, it wasn't like the empty words of the Pharisees. The Bible says, "His word was with authority!" When Jesus spoke, demons trembled! When Jesus taught, blind eyes opened! When Jesus preached, dead things came back to life! His words carried power that changed everyone who heard them!
Faith Always Finds a Way
In the midst of this powerful atmosphere, four determined men arrived carrying their paralyzed friend. They knew beyond a shadow of doubt - if they could just get their friend to Jesus, everything would change! But the crowd was too thick. The doors were blocked. Every window was jammed with people desperate for a miracle.
But faith refuses to take “no” for an answer! Faith always finds a way! These men looked at that roof and said, if we can't go through the door, we'll make our own door! They climbed that house with their paralyzed friend - can you imagine that?
What are you willing to climb over to get to Jesus? What's your roof today? What obstacle stands between you and your breakthrough? Is it doubt? Is it fear? Is it past disappointment? I dare you, in the name of Jesus, to break that thing up! Tear it apart and get to Jesus!
The Power of Persistence
When these men lowered their friend through that roof, the Bible says, "Jesus saw their faith." Some people thought these men had lost their minds, but Jesus didn’t call their actions foolishness. The Bible says that he saw their faith. And immediately he responded, "Son, your sins are forgiven." I prophesy to someone reading this - your prayers haven't fallen on deaf ears! Your fasting hasn't been in vain! Your tears haven't been wasted! For those coming to Homecoming Sunday expecting God to move - he sees your faith!
Jesus saw the paralyzed man’s faith and the faith of his four friends. And he told the paralyzed man, "Arise! Take up your bed and walk!" Immediately the man stood up! The same man who was once confined to his bed was now carrying it. The Bible says all were amazed and glorified God, saying "We never saw anything like this!"
The same Jesus who made the paralyzed man walk is waiting to meet you in McKinney, Texas! Your situation is about to turn around! Your healing is on the way! You’re on the brink of a breakthrough! Come expecting your miracle this Homecoming Sunday and watch how God will show up and show out in your life! You will not be the same as when you came. God is going to pour out his Spirit in a mighty way. Get ready to receive! God will not disappoint your faith!
