You've Outgrown the Box They Put You In
Someone reading this right now has been boxed in. You've given your best. You've shown up. You've poured out. And the people closest to you still can't see what God put in you. They know your name. They know your family. They know where you came from. And somehow, that's all they'll ever see.
You're not crazy. And you're not stuck.
Jesus walked into His hometown, Nazareth, and they said, "Isn't this the carpenter's son? We know his brothers and sisters." The Bible says He couldn't do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Their familiarity put Him in a box.
So He left.
Matthew 4:13 says, "And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum." The prophecy Isaiah had spoken was fulfilled. The people who sat in darkness saw a great light.
Nazareth did not recognize the light standing in front of them. Familiarity and unbelief caused them to put Jesus in a box. But when He moved to Capernaum, the people saw Him for who He was.
What man meant as rejection, God used as relocation. When Jesus was rejected in Nazareth, that rejection did not cancel His assignment. It helped fulfill prophecy. I want to encourage you today: the direction God is taking you is in His Word. David prayed, “Order my steps in thy word” (Psalm 119:133).
When God orders your steps according to His Word, you can trust Him even when you do not understand everything that is happening. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Your transition is not a surprise to God. He knows exactly what He is doing in your life.

GOD MAY BE REPOSITIONING YOU
Jesus’ move from Nazareth to Capernaum positioned Him strategically. Capernaum was near the Sea of Galilee and an international trade route. It gave Jesus access to more people and allowed His ministry to reach farther.
Sometimes your life can reach a place of limitation. You have gone as far as you can go in a certain environment, and God begins to reposition you.
That is what happened with Abraham. God told him to leave his country and his family and go to a land He would show him. Abraham obeyed even though he did not know exactly where he was going.
Sometimes faith requires you to move before you have every detail. God may be moving you into a new flow, new territory, and greater influence. Do not allow the uncertainty of transition to make you doubt the One who is directing your steps.
GOD IS GIVING YOU A HOME BASE
When Jesus moved to Capernaum, it became His home base. Matthew 9:1 even calls it “his own city.” Capernaum became a center of activity for His ministry. It gave Him somewhere to teach, receive people, and return to after His ministry journeys.
I believe God is going to give Miracle Healing Center Church our own building - a permanent home that can serve as the headquarters for this international ministry. God has called us locally, regionally, and internationally. This ministry is reaching people across the United States and around the world, but we believe God also wants to give us a physical location where people can gather and experience His presence.

THE PLATFORM IS ALREADY PREPARED
When Jesus arrived in Capernaum, He did not have to build everything from the ground up. A centurion had already built a synagogue for the Jewish people. The place was already prepared. God had a platform ready for Jesus before He ever left Nazareth. The building was waiting. The door was already open.
What you need for your next season may already be in place. God may have already prepared the people, the opportunity, the provision, and the open door. Your responsibility is to obey Him and move when He tells you to move.
Some of the most well-known miracles in Jesus’ ministry happened in Capernaum. A man with an unclean spirit was delivered. Peter’s mother-in-law was healed. A paralyzed man was lowered through a roof and healed. The centurion’s servant was healed. The woman with the issue of blood received her miracle. Jairus’ daughter was raised from the dead. Peter found the tribute money in the fish’s mouth.
Think about the miracles that were waiting on the other side of Jesus’ transition. If He had remained in Nazareth, He would not have experienced what was waiting for Him in Capernaum.
Your provision may be connected to your next move. The people you are called to reach may be waiting there. The opportunity God prepared for you may already be there. Do not be afraid of transition. God is not leading you blindly. Your move is in the Word, and He knows exactly where He is taking you.
