The One Thing You're Doing That's Blocking the Answer You've Been Praying For Copy

Somebody reading this right now has been blaming themselves for a famine in their life that they did not cause. Somebody has been walking around carrying guilt and shame and confusion, asking God, "What did I do wrong? Why isn't it raining in my life? Why are my finances drying up? Why is my family struggling? Why are doors that should be open still closed?" And God sent me to tell you - the cause was never you.
Dead Men and Living Consequences
I want to take you to 2 Samuel chapter 21. The Bible says there was a famine during David's reign that lasted for three years. Now you have to understand something. When a famine hit a nation like Israel - a people in covenant with God - that meant something was wrong. That wasn't just bad weather. God had already told them in Deuteronomy 28 that if sin was in the camp, He would make the skies above them as unyielding as bronze. He would turn the rain into powder. He would withhold the blessing until things got right.
So David knew this wasn't a natural problem. This was a spiritual signal. And David did what every man or woman of God ought to do when something isn't working the way it's supposed to - he sought the face of God. He inquired of the Lord. He said, "God, I need answers. I need you to show me what's going on."
And here is what God told him. The Lord said, "The famine has come because Saul and his family are guilty of murdering the Gibeonites." Now let that sink in for a second. Saul was dead. He had been dead and buried. He was gone. And yet his sin - his broken covenant - was still alive. It outlived him. And it was now affecting an entire nation of people who had absolutely nothing to do with what he did.
I need you to understand that. One person's decision. One person's sin. One broken covenant. And the whole land was suffering. David didn't cause it. The people didn't cause it. But they were all living under the consequences of something someone else started.

You Are Caught in Someone Else's Storm
That's why I'm writing to you today. Because I believe there are people reading this who are in a famine right now, and it is not your fault. You've been praying. You've been seeking God. You've been doing what you know to do. And yet something in your life just isn't moving. Something that should be flowing has dried up. And the enemy has been whispering in your ear, trying to make you believe you brought this on yourself. But God said to tell you - just like He told David - "It ain't you this time."
Think about the Apostle Paul on that ship headed to Rome. Paul warned the captain. He said, "Don't leave right now. If we sail now, there's trouble ahead." But Paul wasn't in charge - he was a prisoner. The captain made the call against Paul's warning. And when that storm hit, Paul was caught right in the middle of it. A storm he had nothing to do with. A storm he didn't cause. And yet there he was, in the middle of the sea, fighting for his life because of somebody else's decision. Maybe that's you right now. You didn't start this storm. You didn't choose this situation. But somehow you ended up right in the middle of it.
Here is what gives me hope. God sent an angel to Paul in the night and said, "Because you are on this ship, not a single man is going to lose his life." God will use your presence in the middle of a storm somebody else started to protect the very people around you. And even in the storm, He will bring you through to the other side. You are going to make it. Let the storm come - you are going to make it. Let the trouble come - you are going to make it.

God Is Taking You to the Root
But I also need to tell you something else. God didn't just tell David, "It ain't your fault," and leave it there. He showed David exactly where the problem was and told him to fix it. David went to the Gibeonites and asked them, "How can I make this right? What do I need to do?" There was a root to the trouble, and God took him right to it. That's what He wants to do for you. Not just reassure you that you're innocent - but actually expose the root of the famine so you can do something about it. God wants to show you what's causing the dry season so it can finally come to an end. And the Bible says that after David dealt with the root of the problem - after he fixed what Saul had broken - God ended the famine in the land. After that. Not before. After.
Some of you have been praying, naming it and claiming it, and still not seeing the rain come. It's not because God isn't able. It's because there's something that needs to be fixed first. There's a root that needs to be addressed. God is not trying to punish you. He's trying to get your attention so He can show you what to do to turn this thing around. And when you fix it - when you deal with what He shows you, no matter how uncomfortable it is, no matter who it affects, no matter what it costs - the rain is going to come. The famine is going to end. The drought is going to break. And everything that has been dried up in your life is about to shift.
But I also need to tell you something else. God didn't just tell David, "It ain't your fault," and leave it there. He showed David exactly where the problem was and told him to fix it. The Rain Is Coming - Get Ready
I'm telling you today - your breakthrough season is closer than you think. God didn't bring you this far to leave you in a famine. He's been watching. He sees everything you've been carrying. And He's about to show you where the trouble started so you can fix it once and for all. Don't give up. Don't quit. Don't accept the famine as your permanent address. You were created for the blessing, not the drought. You are the head and not the tail. The lender and not the borrower. And God is about to make good on every promise He ever made to you. He is about to give you more time. He is about to take you to the root of the problem and give you the answer. Be encouraged. Help is on the way.
Just like David and the nation of Israel, there are people all over this world sitting in a famine they did not cause. There are people in a drought of revival. People starving for truth. People living in darkness and spiritual hunger - and God has called us, together, to go and set them free.
That is why we are excited to announce the launch of Empowered Youth at Miracle Healing Center Church. We are raising up a generation that will not sit on the sidelines - young people who will carry the fire of God into their families, their friendships, their communities, and their city. David was seventeen years old when he changed the course of a nation. Don't ever underestimate what God can do through a young person who is sold out to Him.
And we are not stopping in McKinney. We want to take the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world - through social media, through evangelistic meetings, through every platform and every open door God gives us - because the harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few. People are waiting. Nations are waiting. And we believe God has called this ministry to go.
This March, we held 3 Nights of Miracles in Ringgold, Louisiana, and the power of God showed up in ways I cannot fully put into words. People were healed. Lives were touched. I watched with my own eyes as a mother and her son were both delivered from demon possession in the same service. That is the God we serve. That is what happens when the Word goes forth without compromise.
But none of it happens without your partnership. We need your help to keep going. We need your help to reach further. If this message blessed you today, if God used it to speak to something you've been carrying, I am asking you to sow into this ministry. Your giving is not just a transaction - it is a seed into everything God is about to do through Miracle Healing Center Church and Sean Pinder Ministries. Every gift you give helps us go further, reach more people, and do more for the Kingdom. Will you help us? Here is how you can give:
