You're Still On Course

The moment YOU stepped into what God called YOU to, the attacks started.

And it confused YOU. YOU thought obedience would make things easier — that saying yes to God would smooth the road, not fill it with opposition. Instead, the resistance got louder the moment YOU got serious. People turned on YOU. Doors slammed. And a quiet fear crept in: maybe the attacks mean YOU heard God wrong. Maybe YOU are not supposed to be doing this after all.

Acts 9 says the exact opposite.

Someone had just been radically changed by God and immediately began doing the very thing they were called to do — boldly, publicly, without hesitation. And almost immediately, the attacks came. Not small ones. Plots. Threats. People organizing specifically to stop them. The opposition was not random, and it was not a sign they had gotten it wrong.

It was proof they had gotten it exactly right.

Here is what most people miss. The attacks did not slow the plan down — they pushed it forward. Every single time the enemy moved to shut this person down, the result was that they ended up exactly where God needed them next. An escape that should never have worked. A rejection by the very people they expected to be embraced by. A second plot that forced a move they never would have made on their own — a move that turned out to be strategic to everything that came after.

What looked like the enemy interrupting the plan was actually the enemy confirming it.

There is a moment in this passage where this person was rejected by the last people on earth they expected to be rejected by — the ones who should have received them with open arms were afraid of them instead. And what happened next — the one person who stood up and vouched for them when everyone else kept their distance — reveals exactly how God protects and positions the people He has called, even when the very people who should support them do not.

Because the attack was never able to touch the plan. It could only confirm it.
