Your Faith Will Be Tested
God did not promise us that we would not experience trouble, but He did promise that He would be with us. He said in His Word that He would never leave us nor forsake us. He is with us, and He will strengthen us. In the end, all things will work together for our good, but we must be patient.
James encourages us to be joyful when we experience trials and tribulations. James said, the trying of our faith produces patience. And “let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1:4).
Consider the endurance of Job. He suffered greatly when he lost everything he had, including his kids. Be despite his grief, he was still willing to trust God and worship Him. God rewarded Job’s faith, and in the end, He gave Job twice as much as he had before. Trust God. Your faith will be tested, but the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy. He will restore you and reward your faith.
