Romans 8:28 | What YOU'RE Facing… God Is Still Working for YOUR GOOD

The thing in front of YOU right now does not feel like it could ever be for YOUR good.

That is the honest struggle. YOU have heard that God works things out — but when YOU look at what YOU are actually walking through, the words feel thin against the weight of it. How could this be good? How could anything good come out of something that hurts this much, costs this much, makes this little sense? And quietly, without meaning to, YOU have started to wonder if God is even still working at all, or if He has gone silent on this one.

These passages were placed together to answer that exact doubt.

It is surrounded by others that make it almost impossible to argue with — a reminder that God cannot lie, a record that not one of His good promises has ever once failed, and a declaration that there is no good thing He will withhold from the person who keeps trusting Him.

The claim is not that what YOU are facing is good. The claim is that God is still working it toward good.

And there is a specific detail in these passages about how YOU actually come to know this for yourself — not as a nice idea YOU repeat, but as something YOU experience — that most people never do, because it requires something of YOU in the middle of the very season that makes it hardest to do it.

Because the promise is not just meant to be believed from a distance. It is meant to be tasted. Proven. Experienced firsthand, right in the middle of what YOU are facing.
