You're Anointed to Conquer

May 31, 2026    Pastor Sean Pinder

Have you ever looked at your situation and seen the enemy occupying what God promised you? A promise that was spoken over your life — yet the opposition is still there, the obstacle is still there, the enemy is still standing on the ground that belongs to you? I want you to stop right now and receive this truth — because Joshua faced that exact situation. Moses was dead. The Jordan was flooded. The giants were still in the land. And God said — every place the sole of your foot will tread, I have already given it to you.

"I promise you what I promised Moses: Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you." — Joshua 1:3 (NLT)

Let these words resonate within your heart today. God did not say I will give you the land IF the enemy leaves. He did not say I will give you the land after you figure out the strategy. He said I have ALREADY given it to you. The deed is already signed. The promise is already made. The enemy standing on it does not change whose name it is in. Take comfort in this — the enemy cannot occupy what God has already deeded to you permanently. He is a trespasser on YOUR territory.

"Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them." — Joshua 1:6 (NLT)

Understand this — God did not say be strong because the enemy is weak. He said be strong because the land is ALREADY YOURS. The command to be strong and courageous was given three times in nine verses. Three times. God knew Joshua would look at the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, and the giants — and feel the weight of the opposition. And three times God said — the opposition does not change the promise. YOU are the one who will lead them to POSSESS it.

"This is my command — be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9 (NLT)

Wherever YOU go — He goes. The enemy is standing on ground that God has already given you. It is time to put your foot on it.

May this powerful teaching from Joshua 1:1-9 fill your heart with the courage to step onto every inch of ground God has promised you — and remind you that the enemy's presence on your promise does not change whose name is on the deed.
