Jesus shed His blood and was crucified so we could receive forgiveness of sins as well as healing from our infirmities. His death, burial, and resurrection fulfilled many prophecies in the Old Testament that concerned the greatest moment in the history of mankind. We can receive salvation because Jesus gave His life, and by His stripes, we are healed. It is finished!
